Mary Ann Schafer, I have not read any of her books, but will look for those as well. My mother swore off Elizabeth too when Helen was shot, but my sister convinced me to continue on. The book I am reading is about the shooter. I did read her latest Lynley and I found it to be almost up to par. It is about what Lynley wanders into on his "walk about". I haven't ever seen any of the tv shows. I have always imagined him as being tall and skinny. Is the actor anything like that?
