Thanks for saying so. I reread it the other night and felt disappointed that I didn’t really put my best foot forward. & then…jeez… followed it up with heartfelt & tedious drivel made up of ideas that in slightly better hands could have been a good read.
Regarding the “pataflafla.” Brad could probably explain it … probably could play it … but, in short, it’s not a drum. It’s a tricky drum rudiment (like a roll or paradiddle) that uses flam strokes. Sounds cool in a fill or solo………
Pretty hard for me to believe it’ll stay dull on that side of the world for too long. After reading …what…like a decade almost… of Al’s goings on, …there doesn’t appear to be any shortage of things to do in Oz. By the way, how is li’l Endeavour doing? …Still not veal steaks I hope?
