According to lore I’m not reluctant to believe
(As history seems to be written by the victors),
Roosevelt signed executive order 6102
Hoarded the lot for his homies and crew
Paid the folks in cotton-fabric tenderloin
Then devalued paper and max-valued coin
I don’t know who was the worst, …it’s a paradox.
The past 8 years were pretty f#ckin unbelievable; it’s true
I think we’ve become fare-thee-well accustomed to being boxed-
In and left out in the cold to fend for whatever lot is our declining value
& so in this paradox that beats torture on some foreign shore is where we strive.

P.S
Bummer. (For some reason the mobile doesn’t cooperate well with the dbis.)
I’d hoped to come home & make one or two revisions to my previous post
(that probably only I would have appreciated), but we got home too late to
make the dbis “edit” prompt deadline. So be it, but one I really, really,
would have liked to fix is…
And making the people lie down in Soylent Green pastures
… would read better as …
And maketh me to lie down in some Soylent Green pasture
