Last Sunday's Frank Rich column in the NYT describes "a dwindling white nonurban America that is
aflame with grievances and awash in self-pity as the country hurtles into the 21st century and leaves it
behind".Marc's youtube post made me think of those folks. All angry, all 'victimized', all seething with
resentment, afraid of change, and feeling sold-out by their own Republican party: swinging bats at
broken stuff they were going to donate to Goodwill anyway.
