Don't worry. I won't tell. I do not speak whatever language she is trying to put forth. I just get the gist of it it all perfectly well.

It's such a beautiful night here in near Boston. Soon my street will be cluttered with folks looking for a fireworks vantage point across the water. Despite some personal hells I can do nothing about, this has been the loveliest day of summer so far here.

I just had an incredible phone conversation with a great friend in Seattle. She is going to watch her fireworks from her bathroom window with a glass of wine.

I am gonna watch the crowds head down the street and watch the Twilight Zone marathon on SciFi while reading at the same time. And maybe a late meal.

It's funny how as the sun goes down here, as the day goes away, how the low end fireworks pop and zip and how the sound of the nearby soccer game climbs. Very sweet.
