I've never been to Lubbock but I respect it nonetheless. Love Joe E. Saw him once--I had a fever of 102 or so--and scalped a ticket at the last (while hallucinating from the flu) for face value--to see Ely open for Little Feat where Bonnie Raitt sat in all night with them. So divine. Joe was terrific too.

As for New England--derangement meets geography quite often here. But given that it's more true that once again--and for the first time in forever and ever, New England has done the right thing in a big way. I love this. It makes me exceptionally proud to live in an area where a lot of brave, brave people are standing up and saying equality still has a great long ways to go and let's get to work.

With these victories, there is maybe the chance that the foundation could be setting. Looking forward to the house that's going to be on that foundation.
