I think I may have put this band on the first Burn Unit rounds?, For some reason I forgot to pick up their last disc, “Runaways” back in 2007. I guess I was hoping for Bella Union to pick it up in the states. Anyhow, just downloaded it the other day. They have always intrigued me. Not that their albums have been great from start to finish, but there's always two or three cuts that just floor me. They're one of the highest regarded independent bands working in Australia. Love the vocals and how they change tempo in songs usually mid way and take it to a different plateau. At heart, a slowcore band...though they remind a bit of Death Cab. Do check them out.
