I'm surprised at the Pelosi results. She's basically done exactly what she set out to do. One may not like it, but I don't see her as breaking a lot of promises. Obama has actually broken (or "altered") several campaign promises so while I kind of like him, I don't think "trustworthy" is an appropriate label. I would agree with the assessment of not trusting Palin to identify a correct solution much of the time. Even discounting politics, the profound differences in size, population, and education (even location and weather) between her state and many others almost makes this predictable.
