By the sounds of most of the posts in this thread I'm one of very few who has found and am thoroughly enjoying LOTS of great new artists making great new music.I heard Lisa Hannigan perform of all places on The Colbert Report last week and was so impressed by the single tune she played I bought the album the next day and it is easily one of best albums I've purchased this year.Lily Allen's' sophomore cd "It's Not You,It's Me" is still filled with cynical, stinging lyrics but is much more mature and complex musically. If you're into soul music new or old. Check out Divine Brown's "The Love Chronicles" sounds like it was recorded at a Stax recording studio with Booker T and the MG's as the band backing her. There are few more recent purchases that I'll post after a few more spins.
