His speech made me want to go out and something, anything for my country, my world, my fellow Americans and my fellow earthlings. . . . I hope to sustain this feeling long enough to take action . . .

on another note, I was visiting your wonderful, vibrant, decadent city with my 15-year-old son this last weekend . . . he who was born and raised in small town Grass Valley, CA . . . he cannot get enough of the big city, Union Square especially, shopping, cruising through the throngs of people, the energy, the diversity . . . i dig seeing my son thrill to the city vibe. We ate at a new Italian place in the Mission District my Uncle works at "Specchio" . . . very good . . . me i could not avoid popping into a few bars for a quick pint . . . Magnolia's and Hobson's Choice in the Haight and Foley's near Union Square to name a couple . . .
