I don't know which is worse...the suffocating heat and humidity of Houston, or the cold we had to endure back in Canada. My parents moved to Houston in the late 70's in search of some place "warmer". They used to complain about the long, cold Canadian winters. Now they complain about the long, incapacitating Houston hot season (which is about half the year). Reverse cabin fever. Either way, it is difficult to spend much time outdoors. Go figure. And I think my Dad must miss his XC skiing....but probably not too much. : > )
