I have always thought David Kelly was a better than average writer, certainly one of network TV's best.
He writes to his actors strengths very well. Shatner and Spader are the very definition of quirky actors, yet both seem at home and fully realized.
Denny has shot and wounded 3 people already and season 2 is just ending.....It does my heart good to know I am not the only one who enjoys this particular TV distraction.
