Well, since you asked, The dB's are headlining a show on Saturday Nov. 1, Early Voting Day, in Chapel Hill, NC. It takes place in the morning (The dB's will be playing at 12:30pm, right after Billy Bragg) at Graham Terrace, adjacent to the Morehead Planetarium on the UNC CH campus. The show begins at 9am with Portastatic. Other acts are Regina Hexaphone, Greg Humphreys (of Dillon Fence/Hobex), the Bowerbirds, Superchunk (acoustic). Gene Holder will be unable to attend, so we'll have Mitch Easter subbing on bass.How's that for service?Peter HolsapplePS - good question about the acoustic songs without the band vocal backing, but keep your hopes high and they can only be dashed against the rocks, right?
