Sure, but so what? My points are:
1. If there are registration issues that look fishy, they certainly should be investigated.
2. This is a state, rather than federal, responsibility.
2a. If the feds discovered evidence of a cross-state effort to manipulate voter roles, the FBI ought get involved, whether the effort fits your political preference or not.
2b. Yes, it looks as if the White House is promoting some sort of selectivity prosecution in this case, but that isn't necessarily so. And this doesn't negate or justify any charges of Republican vote suppression tactics. That's a separate, and equally important, issue.
