There are some bands I refuse to pay attention to almost solely on the basis of my impression of their fans.I like car racing, even NASCAR. But I don't watch it because it gives me something in common with THEM. Metallica is like that.(Another test is does the band have low grade t-shirts emblazoned with their name for sale at Walmart)
