Well, I hope your son has learned about the Brotherhood of the Poorly Utilized Scissors Skills and realizes hey, it's all okay, really it is. Especially if no one else is watching.

I worked for a number of years in a very high end stess-heavy world where I was a minutes taker/ finesser (sad to admit) and took 2 plus hours worth of minutes at a big ol' meeting on a pad with a pencil and at the end of it--I would have the left part of the left hand all covered with that lead look and it was like a revisitation of second grade. So sad.

But I ax-scaped that world and moved on to other, newer hells. Thank goodness.
