My Dear Mr 405
To tell you the truth I don't know if it is interesting or predictable or what.
I gotta tell ya, the effect he has on me ain't calming.
All I know is he, and what he represents, pisses me off! AND, it's going to take something of a
supernatural nature to stop the inevitable. And by the way Mr Greenspan, we are facing a
DEPRession,
not a RESession
This is the same guy who a few months ago was telling 6 middle eastern oil producing
countries that
his best advice was that they abandon the dollar as their peg and form their own currency.
I may not be formally educated but I know he's a traitor to this nation. But then, there's no
shortage
of 'em these days.
sorry, I'll contain myself before I go into a ragin'rant.
Added: What I should have said above: Mr Greenspan and his cohorts knew full well(given time
and
opportunity(changing the rules thereby sanctioning creative(sic) financing)) that "irrational
exuberance" was sure to follow.
A quote: Without a hint of self-parody, Greenspan himself provided guidance to interpreting
his
pronouncements. ÒI know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you
realize that what you heard is not what I meant,Ó the Maestro once offered as explanation. He
further clarified his position with unusual directness. ÒIf I have made myself clear then you have
misunderstood me.Ó (David James ÒWotÕs all this then, Alan?Ó (10-16 July 2003) BRW)
