I didn't want to break with the theme but that is my thought exactly, Abandoned Luncheonette is
superb. Never heard Echoes.I took another exception Pat, Get Your Wings by Aerosmith is a grade above rock n roll. Best version
of The Train Kept A Rollin' I've ever heard. And, I'm rather partial to Nugent's self title first solo album
which came out concurrently with Get Your Wings, which I thought complimented each other for drivin'
music. In both cases I could care less if I hear any of their remaining body of work, but those two are keepers.thanks for that Eugene.peaceablyAs to the theme, I guess I'm getting old because I hate hearing 'most' rerun radio. Fortunately we have
a new album orient station that plays non standard play lists, which mostly leaves one with the
impression of fresh sounds. I'm just not convinced that rerun radio doesn't contribute to
Alzheimers(insofar as it contributes to not challenging ones mind with new patterns). Commercials
employing standards is a real buzz kill too. A good Irish stomp still spins my wheels though.
