This post almost reverses your previous post. I'm a bit puzzled. Did you drink 2 martini's in between :)

How so? It is entirely consistent with what I've said about Obama all along.  I'm looking here at somebody running for President, not the valedictorian of my High School.  I don't see anything reversing my previous post. It just may sound softer. 

BTW...I don't drink Martinis anymore, well at least, not at home...that only leads to..more martinis... then drink dialing and all sorts of nonsense and snarling.   I have maybe 2 a year now, and only at a great restaurant before dinner.  Has to be a special occasion.  Or else...this scenario:

2 AM  EST:

              "Hey Margaret...remember me...it's Eugene"

           _ "uh....yeah...uh it's kinda late, Eugene, what's up?"

             " That was a great ski trip back in '95 wasn't it?  Gawd, we were great together..."

           - "uh..Gene, I really gotta go now...got to get up early and get the kids ready for school.. but nice hearing from you...."

              "Oh, so you're married and settled down now huh?  Isn't that a stitch, well look, if you guys are ever in Maryland please gimme a.."

            " Hmmm...lemme see who else is in the ol' Phone Book....Have to look up some folks on the West Coast...they'd still be up around now.  I'll try Mark.  He's probably having a few also...."
