My point was the scare terminology. First, in the 70's, imminent ice age, lately it's been global warming(turns out a cooling cycle is beginning), thus the need for a less definitive terminology, like climate change.

And yes I read and watch PBS, you can't escape the propaganda. I also understand our planet has been markedly warmer, at least in the northern hemisphere a thousand years ago and the polar bears were present in the Davis Strait at that time.

I've never cared much for mob psychology, or being herded, it doesn't bode well for the little people, of which I am one.
