So let me try to understand... Global warming is a totalitarian machination, which would mean that there's some sort of vast conspiracy among the scientific communities around the world dedicated, for no understandable reason, to bringing about some kind of global police state. That the continuing arctic ice melt and the very quantifiable growing global temperature rise are fallacies, or even survivable in the long run. That taking 3.5 billion years of carbon accumulated in the earth and in the space of 140 years dumping half of that into the atmosphere is expected to have no impact.

That's quite a series of concepts.

"Global warming" as a term was always misleading, because while overall global climate is getting hotter, in some areas the slowing of the thermohaline conveyor belt will cause the weather to get colder. (Note the important distinction between the words climate and weather).

I wish I thought you were correct about all of this, I'd sleep better, but evidence be evidence, and my sleep will likely continue to be troubled.
