Global warming is a totalitarian machination! It's a religion too, in some quarters. There's plenty of
paperwork to prove it. I was at a green national marketing meeting last year where all the local public relations people
from around the US were told to start using 'climate change' and stop referencing 'global warming'
no ands, ifs, or buts. The language of 'Offsets' was also banned.Global warming is definitely political sir.If the situation is so critical, why haven't the airlines been shut down? Why aren't all the neons
ordered turned off? Fill in any examples you wish, and ask yourself why it hasn't already been
curtailed, across the board, if the planet is really in such dire straits. Oh that's right, Al says we
have 10 years(this time). While you're at it, ask Al Gore to explain his lifestyle, and how good it is to be a major(if not the
major) stockholder of the Chicago Carbon Credits exchange(I believe it's called). Or how rich he
expects to get from getting in on the ground floor of that ponzi scheme.I love how you've adopted the 'denial' angle. In your opinion, should those that disagree be
imprisoned? For our own good, or just societies? Al Gore believes deniers should be punished and
compares them to 'holocaust deniers'. Anyone! what's that deal called when one invokes Hilter or
the Nazi's that they've instantly negated their argument?I guess I'd have to say you have your own sort of 'magic moments'.All I'm getting at David is there's an awful lot of yammering, for what, 4 decades now, about the
coming ice age(and then the sun fouled up that scare by heating up, who says God doesn't have a
sense of humour:) and lately the world is said to be burning up and the last I heard the sun is going
into a quiet spell so we should be hearing about the coming ice age excepting the national PR
people decided to instruct their local minions to stick to the less than concrete terminology of
"climate change". Harder to be caught flatfooted and foolish lookin' that way don'tchaknow. Funny
stuff when you look at the timeline of this totalitarian scare tactic. Which, will ultimately work.
Ian's right, white people will fall for anything.I still maintain water pollution is a far greater threat. Or genetic modification.oh well
