Put her in Drop D tuning first. ie DADGBE
Use index, middle and ring finger all on 2nd fret, and voice the following low to high strings across the neck.
D (open), B (index), D (again open), A(mid), C# (ring) (mute or don't play the remaining high E string). Remember it as a Eugenius B minor 9th. And the sound is fookin' glorious. Aaah those open strings....
take that back...you can voice the open E if you like (I don't recall what that sounds like), but it should be cool, 'cause it will just make it a minor 11th chord, and those are perfectly acceptable for consenting adults in public or private. I've got an arrangement of "Young Anymore" which uses it....my rather plaintive voice not helping the song much, but the guitar part is niiiice...
