On first pass - I like Opposites Will Do and Signals.
I think you were channeling some Pat Macdonald on Signals.
I like those two tracks because of their simplicity. "Opposites"
was done in one sitting, and I was trying to do a Trent Reznor sort of thing. On "Signals"
I was shooting for a Steely Dan meets Mitchell Froom groove, especially the "tea pot kettle tattles
social dramas attack" part.Pat MacDonald from Timbuk fame? not really familiar with his solo work,
I'll check it out though, what do you recommend?
