Interesting result and not too surprising, but it ain't over yet.  Obama is still ahead with the delegate count (by a whisker though) and more importantly with the "superdelegate" count.  Competition is healthy, and I think for the most part the voters are speaking, and not being tooo manipulated by the press.

Having heard them both speak in the past, I was more impressed with Hillary as being an effective potential leader, but I'd be delighted if Mr. O got the nod, if for no other reason that he is a vibrant young man who would truly be the "peoples'" choice.  I'm not convinced he would be able to fulfill so many of his platitudinous promises, or any of them...but he would raise taxes certainly, and has promised to do so for at least increasing taxable income for Social Security, which is already a dying horse. His positions on Iraq and future plans for world diplomacy are clear and should be applauded.  In his speeches he seems to be trying to be all things for all causes and I think that he cannot do it all...no one can.

My gut feeling is that if Hillary is nominated, it will be a very tough fight for her against McCain.  If Obama gets it....he will demolish McCain...won't even be close.

So, my fellow Americans.....to take a quote from the '68 Dem convention (police batons cracking and all)..."The Whole World is Watching".
