I watched Across the Universe last night. It managed to make even some of my less favorite Beatles songs seem entirely fresh. Some bits are much stronger than others but overall I thought it was well worth the time. Eddie Izzard....mesmerizing. With this The Lion King and TITUS, Julie Taymor is a director worth remembering.The King of Kong - Rockin good film. I honestly have not heard a single person whose seen it say anything bad. Based on the subject matter you would think that wouldn't be the case. One of the best villain figures in films last year.
