Pat I'm never offended by your actions or words on this board. If my response led you to think so, SORRY, because I was not offended. I was just writing a response in defense of her music. That's all! There may be a good number of folks who have not heard her singing or her story, so I thought it was my obligation to spread the word. Yes, I understand that she sells alot of records on amazon. But I really think it is due to 'word of mouth'. I know this to be true. You see, I have played her music to numerous friends. They now all own at least one of her CD's. Interesting, that just me playing her music has amounted in at least a dozen purchases of her music. I have not heard anything off that new collection, so I do not recommend buying it! It does seem that there are far to many collections of her music out. But I think that is due to the power of her voice, with alot of people. By the way, Norah Jones ain't to bad either!!! You should also check out Tift Merritt, that girl can sing!!!
