Edwards helped him out with extraordinarily stiff performances on the stump and in the debate. He never seemed well-informed last time out, and he struggled to be coherent beyond his class warfare basic message. He's been better this time around although I still don't like some of his ideas. I do get the impression that he's sincere, at least to the extent that a politician can be.
