no, we didn't bust the whole schtick. i played like a clown, but that was about it. here's what i blogged
about it:"we played O'Brien's pub in Allston. the drummer from the second band (Spoilsport - they were good)
let me borrow his kit, and i've never heard a worse-tuned kit in my life! the first time i hit it, Jack
turned around with a 'what the fuck was THAT?' look. hee hee. it definitely had that...indie sound...but
after a bit - okay, a lot - of drum key work, it more or less sounded like a set of drums, so i beat it
into the ground and we turned in another good set. headliners The Can Kickers were fucking sweet,
with banjo, fiddle, washboard, jew's harp, harmonica, the works. truly some deep-woods Appalachian
shit."
we'll return, probably late spring or so. i'll get you next time, my pretty..
