I don't think there is anyone who speaks for 150 million americans, she is one of many activist/gadfly/fundraiser out there touting and issue that they are either truly passionate about or found a niche they can make money/publicity exploiting. I agree that as private club they are pretty much entitled to admit who they want, as someone has the right to protest. She is playing the media game to get exposure, if the media stopped paying attention she wouldn't go away just switch tactics, a la this article.
