Self-hate gets him nowhere. And honestly, does he think that if the same number of people living here today lived as the Native Americans did, we'd be better off? Hell, the sewage alone would do worse environmental damage than anything done today.

Maybe instead of getting all self-righteous, the author ought to worry about doing something to make things better.
