Another film rec. As you all know, I am a huge Bukowski fan. Matt Dillon stars in this film rendition,
which is pretty true to the original text, some of the lines taken verbatim. I love his acting here. He is
not at all like Bukowski in voice nor mannerism and doesn't try to be, he does his own version of
Henry Chinaski and it is very understated, which I like a lot. Lilly Taylor and Maresa Tomei are both
scrumptous....in their own depicted slutty ways...Gene
