I believe it was last weekend on BBC world news that a segment was dedicated to the British Government determining that Brits need to cut back on drinking and how efforts were being stepped up to institute what sounded as a mandate.

Men could only have 7 glasses a wine per week and Woman were to be allowed but 5.

If I understood correctly, and I believe I did, the entire quantity of wine amounted to one average looking bottle making up the mens seven glasses.

It seems drowning ones sorrows(whatever the drudgery) adversely affects productivity, which is alright for government but not the working class.

just saying it sounded like you folks were really being cracked down on, or about to be.
