I think a big chunk of the dissapointment is that this record was supposed to be out last year. There is a huge number of fans out there with high expectations who were given half a loaf. This dissapointment is compounded by the fact that the relese of the MP3's was controlled by the band. No middleman. You would think they would have more respect for their output. When I was listening to the new stuff on the main system it was like everything was there, but it just wasn't THERE, Ya know? The bass in Bodysnatchers should have punched me in the solarplexus, instaed I got a backhand in the gut. Now ITunes samples at 128, so 160 is an improvement. But compared to 320 (CD) it just doesn't cut it.
