I don't recall any of these statements. What I do recall is concern regarding the true motives for this invasion and sorrow for the loss of life by soldiers and civilians. I have never heard any sort of support or empathy for Baathists or Hussein himself. This is another crude attempt to paint opposition with broad, negative strokes, (done by persons by both sides of almost every issue) which I find indicative of extremism and lack of intelligence.
