Yeah the boss can still really hold his own.  Truthfully, I have never been a big fan of his,  but I admire him nonetheless, and when it comes to live performance he gives it his all, always has.  His honesty and no-nonsense approach both to his music and to life in general is pretty impressive.  A friend of mine's girlfriend is a vocalist with the Springsteen band, and has toured with him for the past 20 years or so.  They get to hang with Bruce and Patti on a social basis ever' once in a while, and from the stories I've heard, Bruce is a very solid, decent soul, who is respectful of others and an overall good guy.
