addendum: although i've found what i learned in rehab to be true so far, my brain is still in the process of rewiring itself, so i'm bound to get things wrong from time to time. Post Acute Withdrawal and all that.
anyway, please excuse me, Gene. you're the doctor, so obviously you know a hell of a lot more about the body's systems and how they work. i know about recovery and staying sober (as it's what i want to do). coming up on 5 months next week, and that's something i haven't done in 30 years. i am very much enjoying this ride, this program, and the people i'm meeting. feel like i'm finally home, but then again, i was ready. some never get there, others have to work like hell to get it. i work like heck to keep it, and it's working out great so far.
