I work with people in this system because I work in the VA. Overall we get high marks, despite the
bullshit stuff you read in the paper. Waiting times are mandated to no longer than 30 days...Try
getting a new appt in the Private Sector, and tell me how many times you can get an appt with a new
doctor in 30 days. Yes, we don't provide all services, but service connected Veterans can have any
subspecialty aspect of their care outsourced, and it's covered.
