LMAO .... Oddly enough Cy, throughout my life, I have been regularly accused of thinking too much. (Btw, that's an alarm question on a psychological evaluation test that many American employers give. Meaning lie if you don't want the alarm to go off. Or in case that's not sufficiently clear, if you want the job.)
As to your question: why yes I expect Jesus does support killing his enemies. His Father certainly encouraged the Israelites to kill entire nations of incorrigibles(well to God's program, not that they thought so). So I find it doubtful that Jesus wouldn't follow suit given specific circumstances, just as under alternative circumstances he called for his disciples to turn the other cheek. But one would have to 'study' the scripture if one wanted to know the difference.
No sir, I am not a mountain, just honoring the state where I live that's known for its Green Mountains(which is why I moved here long ago(green mtns mean there's plenty of water)).
I cut n pasted the links, thanks. I'll take a peek at some point.
And Cy, people believe stuff, it seems to be generally accepted we need to believe something bigger than ourselves. After looking around a bit, I chose to believe this scene was intentionally put into motion. And to my mind, In the beginning God created ..., best explained it. Which doesn't even begin to touch upon what transpired in my heart. Which btw, I recommend highly. Exclusively really.
Thanks for the kind thoughts.
peaceably
ps And just for the record, if I weren't a Christian, I'd practice/convert to Judaism. It's going to come back into vogue y'know. Well if you didn't, you heard it here first.-)
