your obsession with the apparent (to you) hypocrisy of others brings to mind a nearly universal human shortcoming known as projection, which dictionary.com defines as: the tendency to ascribe to another person feelings, thoughts, or attitudes present in oneself, or to regard external reality as embodying such feelings, thoughts, etc., in some way.

whether this stems from the deep conflict between Jesus' message and contemporary GOP policies and actions is not for me to say, but i admit i have my suspicions.

the world is a mirror for us all. my hope for you is that you can value yourself enough to reflect, regroup and re-create. that you can take an honest look at yourself and the way you present your beliefs, ideas and emotions, especially within this community. i know, i know, you're proudly immune to introspection and all that liberal touchy-feely crap, but i suspect at this point you're not even fooling yourself.
