I've read that Ed blames the recurring mouth cancer on years of having his metal pick in his mouth (when doing hammer-on solos) and the electro-magnetic field created by all his studio gear instead of smoking 3 packs a day. Now THAT'S denial. Wonder what he blames the booze and drugs on?? Maybe crossed signals from the freakin' space station.
