Ryan has put out a lot of music in his time. "Heartbreaker" and "Gold" are high water marks indeed. Songs like New York, Firecracker and La Cienga Just Smiled are particularly good. The double album "Cold Roses" is a bit uneven but there's plenty of reason to give it a listen. Same goes for "Jacksonville City Nights". It's eerily close to listening to Gram Parsons from beyond the grave. I agree that 29 is the weakest of his albums. Just not easy to listen to. No doubt with his talent we'll be hearing alot more from him.
