I actually saw Townes live in concert when I lived in Houston back in '83 or so. I never really liked him until much later. Acquired taste, I suppose. I've got a few of his recordings, and the one I like the best is a live concert he did in Carnegie Hall. That thing is better than anything else I ever heard him do. I don't know if I can stand to see that movie.
