Re: Springsteen and Costello Tribute to Joe Strummer!
As I know personally how much Peter regards The Boss and the late Joe Strummer, and HE knows how highly I regard Elvis Costello. It is great to that the "masses" of uninformed will get to hear The Clash honored by such worthy contemporaries man to hear Costello deliver "London Calling" with the fervor of "Radio,Radio or Watching The Detectives' would be so cool.Regarding the passing of Maurice Gibb, I feel he is worthy of more aknowledgement than that of the BEE GEES '70's output. He was infact a talented pianist/keyboardist and of course without his soaring falsetto the BEE GEES certainly wouldnot have obtained the lofty status the do have.Regards,
