Hi cyanaura:)

PARDON US FOR THIS COMMERCIAL INTERRUPTION: http://www.onlinebible.org/ There are a good many components and several different texts you can DL for free(especially on Windows). Subsequently I purchased a companion CD that contains a couple dozen versions, concordances, lexicons, reference materials, numerous commentaries and other worthwhile resources and capabilities, such as being able to save and cross reference your own study notes too. It is especially searchable and Mac friendly. I have found it an indespensible study tool and recommend it highly. Phrase searches can be very interesting, e.g. Even if you only want to match scripture with me Reg.-) I mean that kindly sir. Your Mrs might find it desirable however.

NOW BACK TO YOU, cyanaura:)

On the reread you sound quite bitter. There's really no need. If you're offended by what you consider nonsensical words, ignore my posts.

Otherwise, in reply, you are quite right about my knowing because of my faith. One of the byproducts of faith in Jesus is that he keeps his promise of sending a 'comforter'. Which from the believers perception ends the discussion regarding faith, becasue then one has unspeakable assurance. Also, unfortunately, that remains unproveable to the non believer such as yourself. (meaning we are given internal assurance, and frankly what would be the point otherwise. 'Yepper, I'm going to save your soul sinner but I'm gonna leave ya wonderin' til after yer dead; when you can't do nothing about it.' There's no assurance in that, nor comfort, which is why it's done like Jesus and God's word said it would be, if one believes what one is required to believe. And, if you think about it, we can! and do! think whatever we like. It sounds so simple, and yet look how hard it is, strange ain't it.)

As to the question, of why he hasn't returned as yet, I believe it is because the conditions set forth in the scripture have not as yet been met. And in fact, his first return will occur, 'in the clouds', so nobody much will see him but his own. That will be rectified at a later date(s) however.

Am I still pushing this on you, when you asked?

Do you disagree that, I think more than a wee bit?

The scripture is the scripture. I believe what it claims, even when I don't as yet understand. I am not certain if this applies to Judaism, though I expect it would, but in Christian times the only unforgivable sin, is disbelief. All else!!! can be forgiven if one will but believe on the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, as God's word delineates.

respects, and I hope you find God's saving faith one day
