Hi all,

I've been a mentor on this site for about a year now and it's been at times frustrating and another "responsibility" - but, by far, quite humbling and very rewarding.

If any of you - or anyone you know - would like to "do more" from the comfort of his/her home and computer screen, please give it a try. The kids need us; many are grateful and amazing; others less obviously so but maybe there's the occasional connection. The other mentors and teachers are super.

http://www.icouldbe.org icouldbe is a mentoring program for teens and adults. icouldbe connects teens with career mentors over the internet to help teens discover what they can be. Adults can register their youth programs with icouldbe, or become a career mentor and part of the national non-profit resource that is icouldbe. Be a mentor!
