Icon Re: Looking for Jesus, finding yourself...

It means some people are so self-satisfied that they see no need for Jesus' saving grace in their life Ed. It's that simple.

Further, if God says, which he does via his word, that one MUST believe on his Son in order to be acceptable in God's estimation, which scripture does, and a person chooses not to believe that they ARE rejecting Jesus Christ.

I know it seems simple and foolish but that's the deal God decided upon(for reasons we needn't rehash). According to God's word, what one believes in their heart is the deciding factor in their personal eternity.

What you can't seem to understand is this is not about politics with real Christians Ed(we understand Jesus will rule the world one day-we're looking forward to that, we're not fooled by GW Bush and his cohorts); and more pertinent, I didn't make the rules, God did! I'm just trying to warn you(or whoever).
