i'm actually kinda following this thing...because what's better than fit men runnning around in shorts? a worldy event, truly; makes our little NBA/MLB/NFL championships seem awfully parochial. can't root for the US too much, tho', we hardly belong in the thing, and it wouldn't mean that much to us if we won or even did well. crushed to find there's no Japanese women's team...but of course, my heart belongs to...PORTUGAL! would love to see the 'Roos advance, too.
