Not sure Pat, I did enjoy the new song and a couple of the tracks sound a lot better. Not sure if they should have messed with adding the strings to some of the tracks. If you want to own all of his recordings, I say yes! If you haven't purchased the proper albums, do so first. "Bryter Layter" being me fav! I'm not to happy with his estate (Sister).and how protective they are about his catalog and all of his masters and demos. There are quite a few Nick Drake clones on the market at the moment. Two of them are doing quite well with critics and audiences:

Jose Gonzalez, from Sweden and Alexi Murdoch from Scottland via L.A. Both are taking his sound a wee bit further, while maintaning a smidgen of originality.

Have you ever thought about how Nick Drake, Cat Stevens and Jackson Browne kinda mirror each other. I mean look at Nick's three albums, then Cat's trio rcordings of, "Tea For The Tillerman", Teaser And The Firecat..." and "Mona Bone Jakon"..." or Jackson's "For Everyman", "Late For The Sky and "The Pretender". Three killer records in a row, then boom, kinda fizzle out ? Wonder would have became of Nick's record output if he remained alive?
