um, thank you. been blathering about Liam & the Flowers for way too long now, and the gang of friends that accompanies me to their infrequent local shows grows each time. i got to join 'em and play some tambourine & stuff during Don't Go at their last gig in SF, and Liam is always a sweetheart to talk to after the shows. he did an album with one of the Finns that was okay (hastily thrown together, and it shows), but People, Home and Songs From the Rain are the ones. the latest Into The Heart has some really good songs on it as well, but i fear they're not quite the same now without ex-bassist Peter O'Toole's songwriting talents. be interesting to hear the next batch of tunes. still, a great, great band.
not sure about all this saving civilization stuff, but, hey, perhaps the Irish may have a little soul after all (Micko excluded, of course). Gaelic me!
